I like Neil Cole. See here is his web-page and his blog.
Today I was reminded that I am part of a team. I am not called to be an evangelist or a prophet. I need to remember my place and what God wants me to do and do it. No more - no less.
Who has read The Shack? I listened to a podcast today about the author. His name is Paul Young. The book, it would seem, is autobiographical. And was written for his children. But it explores much more than that. I haven't read the book. They tell me you either love it or hate is. I want to read it. Any one who thinks outside the box is worth a good look. For example. He hints that God might be female. Really. What is so impossible about that. God is the creator. So what's the problem. Jesus in blue jeans? Yep, I can see that. God the Father also crucified on the cross? That's stretching it a bit. But I haven't read the book. I will reserve judgement until I read the book.
There is another book out there called No Fixed Address. This one is also autobiographical. By John BodyComb I think is the author. It is an account of one man's spiritual journey. We are on a journey. Our idea and beliefs will change as we go through life. Christ will show us things, lead us places that we would never once go. Again, cant wait to read the book.
Tomorrow normal programming will resume. That is, I may go back to bragging instead of blogging.
Till next time...........
