Tuesday 11th October 2011 - I am proud.

The family at the Enchanted Maze at Arthurs Seat, around 40 kilometres from where we live at Frankston. This was our first trip away whilst Michele and Cathy were on holiday. I also was on holiday.
Cathy standing by a carved wooden figure.
The Hedge Maze. Mother disappearing around a corner. These mazes are ideal for Stephanie. She can find her way round completely unguided.

Michele looking very pleased with herself.
As I said that was the first of the day trips we did.
We attend St Luke's Anglican Church in down Frankston. This from Jordan's Journal for October 9, 2011:
He gives a quote from Steve Job now deceased leader of Apple.
"Job's himself reflected on death in a Stanford University:
'No one wants to die. Even people who want go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet, death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it, and that is how it should be, because death is very likely the single best invention of life. It's life's change agent. it clears out the old to make way for the new'"
I think that says it all. And Christ can be the agent of that change. If we will place our trust in Him, then we get double change.
Then there is this. A while ago, Mr Osama Bin Laben was assassinated by agent from the USA. He was blamed for the 911 bombings.
The world rejoiced at his death. In some places people danced in the streets. At the time, I didn't. I thought it was murder. I still think it was murder. And again, invasion of another land.
Today I was reading Proverbs 24. Verses 17 and 18 stopped me in my tracks. I couldn't believe what I read. Or more importantly, I couldn't believe that again the Lord must have been guiding my thoughts and guarding my mind.
Let me quote from The New King James Version:
Proverbs 24:17-18
17 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
      And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
18 Lest the LORD see it, and it displease Him,
And He turn away His wrath from him.
Enough for now............
