What's happening in our world? Lots.
We are at the centre of the year. Michele and Cathy have completed 1/2 the year of school and pre-school. Both have done very well.
Michele is in grade 2. But her levels are 1/2 way through grade 3. Well done Michele. Apart from some issues she is doing so very well. I am proud to know her as my daughter. Just now both girls are on holiday. A very well earned holiday. Mum and Michele are going to have a mum and daughter date. Can two ladies have a date? Of course they can.
One of the questions we have in our Triple M's group is in relation to quality/quantity time in our most important relationships. Well, mum and daughter are very important.
Cathy is her usual bubbly self. She enjoys life and Timothy. Timothy is our little man. Cathy smothers him with affection. Drives us mad. But I guess they will work it out. Cathy can read some and is quite a little genius at maths. I am surprised and so is mum. We have taught her nothing. Michele sort of taught her to count, but the rest she has pretty well taught herself.
Now, a little while ago I mentioned Stephanie, the love of my life, had some big plans. She now has a music teacher and in November this year will sit her AMEB Grade 8 Music exam.. She had not planned to do the exam this soon.
She also had aimed to be able to walk from home to school and from home to the Beach Street shops by the end of the year. She can do that now. Yippee!! Now she wants to learn from our home to the Kareela Rd cafe. Her instructor in on holiday just now. When she returns then Stephanie will complete Kareela Rd.
Of course nothing remains static. Stephanie has now decided to get a guide dog. When she has learnt these routes, then she will be assessed and if found OK, will start training for the dog.
Till next time.............
