Tuesday 24th August 2010 - Whose who

This last weekend has been a smorgasbord of Ham Radio. It was the International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend. It goes like this. All us mad radio nuts go and operate from a lighthouse. In all I heard 246 lighthouses were activated. It is an annual event. This is the first year I have attempted to contact the lighthouse. In all I contacted 17. Which, given the state of the bands just now, isn't bad.

Kidz in the kitchen, or as this blog says, The New Chefs. I like this post. This lady in an un-schooler. She home schools, or more importantly, her children educate themselves. The kids usually come up with the idea's and Mum facilitates the learning. What a wonderful way to do things. Our kids are in the kitchen all the time and love cooking. But Vacation Schooling takes the whole concept one step further.

This Triple M's are in Luke 1-12. The first thing to hit me as I read was to wonder if we would recognise a prophet if we saw one today. I doubt it. Scary, isn't it. God spoke through His prophet in times past. The Bible says, now He speaks through His word. Interesting. Jesus is the Word. Jesus lives, or is supposed to, live in us. So, He is going to speak through us? And Paul talks about the ministry of a prophet.
Have I ever seen/heard a prophet? Not that I am aware of. That is sad. Would I recognise Jesus if He was to step out of Eternity and into time? I am not going to answer that one.
