Wednesday 20th April 2011 - More bragging.

These two photo's were taken in Melbourne. The top photo is the mouth of the Patterson River at Carrum. Carrum is around 10 minutes by train north of Frankston. The other is taken at the top of Cave Hill about 2 minutes south of Lillydale. I like going to Lillydale. What cannot be seen is a talc mine on the other side of the railway line.
Yesterday I published a set of photo's taken of Tim. Tim had been outside on the grass before, but only when we carried him out there. For some reason he decided it was time to go exploring. Very hesitantly at first. I expected him to get stuck at the step. Not so. Very slowly and very carefully he made his way out. Michele and Cathy were thrilled. Michele has carried him out before. But he didn't seem keen on the idea. This time was different.
It is interesting to see the children grow. Michele is outgoing and not concerned about much. She is a willing helper. I should say keen willing helper. About the only thing she doesn't like is pooy diapers. Cathy is the mothering one. She hugs and hugs Tim. I was amazed when Cathy was born that her and Michele got on so well. But they do get on well. There seems to be no rivalry between them. Again, when Tim was born we thought maybe we would see jealousy. But no. Not a hint. Tim loves the girls and the girls love him.
Mother is amazing. Three kids seems to be no effort to her. It was a big move. Stephanie did most of the packing. Tim was only 3 months old when we moved here. Over the Christmas break Stephanie had to learn her way from our house to the school. It's only 10 minutes walk. But when your blind it might as well be a thousand kilometres. She has had to learn all of it in preparation for the new school year. She did. Easily. Well, she made it look easy. Top that with piano lessons. Plus running a house hold. Yes, she is one busy lady.
Enough for now. Till next time......
