Saturday 4th October 2008 Been there, done that....

... for another 12 months. Done what? The Gardening Australia Expo at the Caulfield Race Course. And it was good. Lots of good idea for rain water tanks. I got some seed potatoes for my garden. A chocolate bag from the Chocolate Box. A traditional Christmas pudding for my father-in-law. Hi is a Welshman. There was all the crew from the TV show of the same name. There was a cooking section as well. Most of the displays were of the "buy me now" variety. I would have like to see more gardening displays and ideas on gardening that I could try. But alas, it was mostly a "buy me" show. So, I wonder if I will get to go next year. It would be good. This is the third year in a row that I have gone.
Oh, Michele went with me. She was excellent. Not many girls, or boys, would have submitted to being dragged around a gardening exhibition by their father's. She did well, I am proud of her. She did get a kids gardening bag and we dropped in at the ABC shop and got a show bag for her.
Mum stayed home. She was supposed to go visit a friend, but the friend went to the zoo. And I am going to leave that alone.
Today's Bible reading at St Lukes is Psalm 137-138. Does this song wring a bell? Now that I have your attention, go read Psalm 137. And the artists were Boney M.
