What's that got to with anything? Why I am glad you asked. It is a challenge from Godly Tomatoes. The challenge for the week was to do something in the kitchen with our children. Michele loves bangers and mash, so that's what we are cooking. The veggies have been prepared and she is just watching a program on TV just now. We will go cook and then report later. Maybe a photo or two just coz we can.
We got the challenge from Godly Tomatoes but get most of our ideas from No Greater Pearl. They have lots of good idea and in depth descriptions to go with it.

Okay, enlighten your American audience. :) I have a wife of fairly recent British ancestry, so I'm familiar with and enjoy bangers (we have a local British food emporium that has provided those and other nice stuff for a couple of decades; recently the regular grocery stores have actually started to have a British section, too, but so far no bangers).
So now I know bangers are popular in Australia as well as Britian. (And one North Texas household. ;) ) But what is mash?
