I did! Tuesday 19th June 2007

I had the most boring day today. It was capital B Boring! Well at work I did. I sat around all day on my rear end doing precisely ---- wait for it------ nothing! I did have a run to Frankston and then was supposed to sit on a train for a few hours in case it was needed then travel home. Well, the train I was supposed to sit on was AWOL hence the boredom! I did get to talk to a few people at work and I did get to organise my bookmarks on my pocket PC. Then I travelled home.
Home was fine. Michele swamped me the minute I walked in the back door with her day at preschool and Cathy? Well she slept. I resisted the urge to blow a big fat raspberry on her. The look from Mrs Manager was enough to discourage any idea of that nature. On the Cathy front, she can now giggle quite well. It doesn't happen very often as yet but it do happen! Next week is her 16 week check up even though she is 16 week old today. Which I might add today is Tuesday in Australia not Monday as this silly blogspot would claim.
Today's Bible reading from St Luke's is Ezekiel chapter 27. Very similar to yesterday in so much as God is now judging the nations who had plundered and pillaged Israel. I actually find it quite interesting that God would operate in this way. But when one thinks on it, it makes perfect sense. Israel stuffs up, God takes His hand off Israel, the nations around her seize their opportunity and plunder. It's not what they do, but how they do it. I believe they are, up to a point, doing what God wants. Trouble is they go overboard. And therein lays the problem.
Tomorrow at St Luke's look at Ezekiel 28:11 to the end. Cross reference this with Isaiah 14:12 onward. It sure do make interesting reading.
